Driskill Hotel's Ghosts


Driskill Hotel welcomed business people and politicians for events over the years, in 1934. But today guests say it's a haunted hotel, and the news went viral everywhere. This viral news attracted a lot of visitors who were living around the hotel and also the paranormal investigators. A famous ghost Colonel Driskill with his cigar roaming through the corridors.

Colonel Driskill likes to smoke cigars always. The hotel claimed a non-smoking area. But many visitors claimed to catch the scent of cigars still. Another incident was a security guard was working late at night. He senses the strong scent of a cigar. He tried to catch the person, but he heard a male voice behind him whisper "Got a match?"


The Senator's Daughter


Senator's daughter Samantha Houston stumbled and fell to her death on the Driskill’s staircase. Visitors can still hear her playing a ball on the steps. Paranormal investigators searched for evidence to verify whether it was true or not any publicity stunt. However, it was found to be true during the night-time it is still active.

Peter Lawless Ghost

In the 20th century, Peter Lawless was a ticket agent for the Great Northern Railroad. When his wife passed away, he moved to the Driskill Hotel. He started a shop on the 5th floor of the hotel.  Visitors often see Peter using the elevator every time. But, the shocking thing is he doesn't exist. Employees even claim that his spirit roams on corridors of the 5th floor.

Haunted Room 525

Houston socialite who escaped to the hotel after calling off her fiancĂ©’s wedding. In a matter of hours, she spent $40,000 on her fiancĂ©’s credit card for shopping. After returning to the hotel. She shot herself in the stomach. Hotel management found her in the bathtub with a gun and pillow. Before killing herself she consumed alcohol. Due to over consumption of alcohol she may lost control of herself and committed suicide.
