Haunted Places in Rhode Island Which You Can't Believe


Rhode Island was meant for religious and political freedom. The things that happened over there were terrible when the bodies of the Exter family were unearthed to banish an undead spirit which led to the whole family's destruction. When the bodies of the mother and two daughters were exposed, the youngest daughter Mercy Brown had a reddish complexion and blood in her veins. Fort Wetherill, Jamestown: In the year 1776, the British took control of the Forty, and they were terrorized by a black hound. The black hound is meant as a bad omen and whoever sees the black hound dies or disappears. Today, locals can be heard growling, barking, and howling when they visit this place.

Seaview Terrace, Newport: The house was built by the Washington DC. In the year 1907, Edson Bradley a millionaire took over the mansion and changed the design of the mansion. It took 2 years to finish the entire renovation of the two buildings into one. Now the mansion is haunted by a spirit Mrs. Bradley. She died mysteriously in the house, and her desire left behind. Visitors saw her many times and heard voices and footsteps.

The Perron House, AKA Conjuring House: The Perron couple bought this house at a low price. When they moved into the house with their daughters. They started seeing terrifying ghosts like a woman in a gray dress standing in front of her bed, and a witch Bathsheba Sherman's spirit torched the whole family. Ed and Lorraine Warren were called for an investigation and they found out that Bathsheba Sherman, a Satanist killed her daughter and she hung herself as per the ritual.

The Breakers Mansion, Newport: Alice Vanderbilt's ghost has haunted this mansion since she died in the year 1934. She was roaming inside the mansion till now and paranormal investigators are not allowed inside the mansion because the families living there are not allowing them.

City Hall, Providence: Staff reported that chairs and tables are moved themselves, distinct whispering in empty rooms, and unexplained shadow figures. The paranormal activity was caused by Mayor Doyle, who was buried inside the building.

Graduate Providence: The building was built on satanic grounds and belongs to Satanist Johan Leisse Weisskopf. Many rituals took place on this property including sacrifices. Many high-profile murders took place in this building and it was sieged for a certain time. Few visitors reported that staff vanished during nighttime.
